Transformations
Here’s a glimpse into some of the homes we’ve had the privilege of working in. We are so grateful to each client who welcomed us into their space. Together, we accomplished incredible transformations, often in less time than you’d expect! With focus, motivation, and the right team cheering you on, you can do it too.
This client was a creative and passionate 17-year-old with so many interests and treasures packed into their space. The room was full of meaningful items, but lacked a clear, functional workspace.
We thoughtfully purged the space while making sure it still felt true to them. By carving out a focused workspace, we created a room that supports both their creativity and daily needs. What an incredible transformation!
The challenge here was that the client needed this one room to serve as a bedroom, art studio and office.
We made room in the cabinets for her art supplies and shifted the desk to face the beautiful view through the sliding doors. This simple change created a dedicated office zone and made the space feel more inspiring to work in.
The client had many boxes overflowing from his office into his bedroom. We spent time clearing the office to make room for these boxes of important files. This allowed him to have a separation between the bedroom and office zones.
We sourced a beautiful shelving unit from his living room that was taking up too much space. By moving it into his bedroom it allowed for him to showcase some of his favourite items, creating a space that feels authentically his.
This client eventually wants to invest in a long closet unit, but for now, that’s outside her budget—so we made the most of what she already had! One of her biggest challenges was feeling like putting away clothes was a chore she dreaded. Sound familiar?
We took down the curtains that were getting in the way and making it hard to put clothes away. Then, we colour-coordinated her wardrobe to make the process feel more fun and visually appealing. We also uncovered some hidden shoe racks behind the closet and put them to great use. Such a fun transformation!
This little room was filled with amazing treasures—but the abundance of items made it hard for the client’s daughter to relax, sleep well, or fully tap into her creativity. She also needed a clear, functional desk space for homework and making art. Creating room to breathe was key.
“ogether, we went through every item and donated several bags—making space to create distinct zones within the room. This brought clarity and focus to the space. We also relocated the fish tank to the living room, freeing up the desk so she could reclaim it for creativity and schoolwork.
This extra room had become home to 15 years’ worth of accumulated items. It was time for a reset—to let go of what was no longer serving the client and transform the space into a functional home office.
Ta da! What a transformation. Every item was gone through carefully and we created various piles such as recycle/trash/donate/sell/give to close friends. This space is now an excellent office and the client knows that some of his favourite things are going to those in need or to loved ones.
